Enplus Italia manufactures biogas-powered cogeneration units called E-CONCEPT® Green Fuel.
Biogas (Green Fuel) is the residue resulting from the purification processes of organic wastewater that can be found in:
- Purification processes of domestic waste water
- Depuration of zootechnical wastewater
- Industrial wastewater treatment
- Solid waste treatment
More than 950 million kWh of electricity have been produced from agricultural and livestock wastewater and more than 70 million kWh of electricity from domestic wastewater, solid waste and sludge.

The method with which the requests of the customers for the production of green fuel (biogas) plants are addressed is part of the operativity with which the company faces any problem related to the design of plants for energy production and recovery. The first step is the audit, listening to and acquiring the customer’s requests. With this data we then move on to formulate a targeted proposal, the presentation of a project and the realization of the actual plant up to its commissioning.
The experience of En+ Italia, already applied to large-sized metropolitan treatment plants, allows us to respond to the most complex and varied application processes in the sector. Through a wide range of available power units (from 50 to 2,000 kWe) we can tackle any application of the sector, from the delocalized treatment plant to the big collection centers, to waste treatment in farms or industries and also the conversion of biogas into energy at end-of-life landfills (tail biogas).
