Through its SOL+ solution, ENplus offers “turnkey” photovoltaic systems, including the following services and products:
- Feasibility study and business plan: An important and fundamental stage that verifies the actual soundness of the entire project, through a careful and accurate analysis of key factors such as positioning, tilting and power measurement;
- Structural and electrical design, which means implementation of the entire system according to available surface, calculation of number of panels, connection of the several modules to the inverters, designing of MV substations, and connection to the national network;
- Paperwork and authorization: Requests that include the necessary authorization forms specific to the type of system ordered. Requests need to be filled in and submitted to GSE, ENEL, the Province and City Hall.
- Choice of components and creation of a system:
- PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS – The main items and core of the system. Basically made of silicon, the panels capture sunrays during daytime and turn them into electricity; - NETWORK BOARDS FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC FIELD - Electrical devices connecting the several strings of installed modules, bringing direct current to the inverters;
- INVERTERS - Specific electronic devises that turn electricity, produced by the photovoltaic modules, from direct current into alternating current in order to power machinery, tools, lamps, house-hold appliances, computers, etc.;
- ENERGY METERS – Gauges that measure the amount of energy produced by the entire photovoltaic system. The meters also measure energy that is exchanged in the national network (where a net metering system already exists); - INTERFACE PROTECTION NETWORK BOARDS;
- TRANSFER SUBSTATION – Electric substation approved by ENEL. This is the last step of the system, in which transfer of electricity to and its retrieval from the national network take place. |
