BIOGAS
SUSTAINABILITY AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT.

The term biogas stands for a mixture of several types of gas produced by natural bacteria fermentation of organic waste in anaerobic condition (absence of oxygen). This waste is made of vegetable products and by-products and of sewage fluids from cattle and swine farms, together with the natural decay process of organic matter present in the sludge of purification plants of civic and/or industrial sewage. A monitored management of the anaerobic process by means of state-of-the-art technological systems produces an optimum quantity and quality of biogas, and therefore environmentally sustainable energy. At the same time, it allows a true chance for a “profitable investment” with a substantial financial yield. As a matter of fact, the law in force considers biogas, obtained as mentioned above, as a “renewable source.” Therefore, as a high-efficiency cogeneration fuel, it produces electrical and thermal energy of great value and advantage since the so-called “incentive rates” bring about a considerable return. ENplus offers the solution called BIO+ that matches the company’s experience in the field of energy for large industrial customers with new technologies that address efficiency and use of natural resources, by proposing biogas systems that are innovative and economically convenient.
